Teeth: 11
Clothes: 18M and 24M
Shoes: 6.5W or 7--We actually went to be measured, then all of the shoes we liked were sold out in Jay's size. Online shopping we went and got some awesome Tiny Toms and nifty New Balance.
New Vocabulary words: Choo-Choo, Color (cod-or), Lovey (Huv-vie), Bite (that one is crystal-clear), Boom-Boom (which loosely translated means "dance"), Bubbles, and if you say "Chicken" Jay responds "Boo Boo"- as in Donald Duck's pet, Boo-Boo Chicken on Mickey Mouse Clubhouse-this also applies to things like chicken nuggets funny, but odd at the same time.
New Animal Sounds: Turkey (Gob-Gob-Gob), Fish (kissy face), Chicken (Bock-Bock-Bock)
We're off and running! Jay walks and runs all.day.long.
The weather is awesome here so we're exploring the great outdoors more and more.
Did I mention the climbing?
He's a silly little guy and is becoming less and less predictable. I'm guessing this is a trend that will continue for the next 15 years.
He's carrying coffee filters. Because he can, I suppose. |
He amazes me every day either with something he's figured out or a new phrase.
We're waking up around 6:45-7:15, napping from 10-Noon, napping again from 3:30 to 5:15 or so then brushing teeth, reading books, singing and saying prayers by 7:45. We try 3 meals a day and a snack before each nap. I really like this schedule, but see it slipping away as Jay's world becomes larger and larger.
Oh, and it's official--these two are BEST friends-
Gus will let Jay tackle him, roll around and pull on him all day. |
